About the Artist

I am a multi-disciplinary artist, specializing in ceramics and illustration, as well as experience design.

I have a Bachelor of Design from OCAD University, and while I was born and raised in Toronto, who I come from is as important as where. My mother is a Cambodian refugee who has taught me the value of creativity as an intuitive expression of self. My father's anglo background has its own significant challenges and privileges, but it is the two identities blended together that have firmly placed me in the position of in-between––never belonging fully to anyone or any place. Because of this, my work centres on duality, as well as bridging, moderating and interpreting cultural experience.
